Does Jane Heider really exist. A search of the Internet, including Intelius shows no record of such an individual. Therefore, one must wonder if someone created the name “Heider” (sounds like hider, doesn’t it), solely for the purpose of besmirching the good name of Ms. Reinhart’s father and her family. Should that be the case, it is a despicable act.
It is assumed Ms. Reinhart’s uses her married name. Accordingly, her father’s name has not been demeaned by Jane Heider allegations. That fact notwithstanding, anyone who would post a fabrication, like the one which may have been perpetrated by whoever Jane Heider really is, is not only despicable, they have serious issues!
While most of us have learned to discount people that post on sites where they can hide behind one screen name or another, it is a sad day for our society when people use false names on credible news/blog sites. It is hoped the Home News Tribune will take action to ascertain the true identity of Jane Heider. The HNT knows the e-mail and IP address of Jane Heider, or at least they should.
It is with deep regret that I acknowledge I had any part in calling attention to the Jane Heider posting on the Woodbridge In Jersey website. My apologies to Ms. Reinhart for so doing. Let us hope that everyone has learned the same lesson, that being, know the source of the well!
