NEW JERSEY, August 27, 2011 – Artists of all different mediums will be showing their work at an art exhibition called “I Heart Art”. All of the artwork is for sale and all of the artists will be in attendance to discuss their craft in detail. The singing duo, She Hates Me will be performing from 7:30 to 8:30 pm. The public is invited and admission is free.
This unique setting gives the attendee the personal feeling of a small art gallery exhibit inside combined with the feeling of a quaint garden cafe outside. Lights strung from the trees and spotlighted artwork outdoors will add to the ambiance. Sip wine, nibble a bit and enjoy a stroll through the art, all while listening to wonderful music from six different decades by She Hates Me. This duo offers a fresh interpretation of a variety of songs ranging from the jazz standards of the 30’s and 40’s to the guilty pleasures of 80’s pop.
The diverse group of artists that will be in attendance, showing their work:
Fine art (realism) by Tracie A. Godri of Funkshonal Art, who is also the homeowner
Unique clothing designs by Danielle Marie Tobin of DMT Designz
Metal sculptures by Dan Dennison
Illustrations by Scott Kirschner
Digital Illustrations by David Phillips
And the list of artists continues to grow!

UNIQUE SETTING FOR ART EXHIBIT IN COLLINGSWOOD AT

And for a fee you can get a psychic reading by Tracy Farquhar of Spirit Light Psychic ServicesCharismatic homeowner and artist, Tracie Godri (along with husband Matt), conceived of the unique idea of an art exhibition in the evening at their home. “I wanted to provide a personal space for each artist to display their work and educate people on their craft while being in a home-like setting. I want people to come and feel like an elegant evening at a friend’s house. I think people respond more in this type of atmosphere rather than a festival setting.” The first art party, called Illuminations, was held on June 4th and was a success so Godri decided she would host another one. The time of the event is promoted as a way for out-of-towners to “have dinner at one of our fabulous restaurants in Collingswood and come to the show afterward to make it a complete night”.
