A few updates on the changes suggested on the call this morning:
Completed:
1. Added tags to the bottom of the single-post page view
2. Fixed the way galleries were displaying badly on full-width page template
3. Changed link to ”edit” posts to link to backend post editor (figured this was just more simple than trying to have two edit links — one to edit on frontend, one to edit on backend. If you guys think it’s ok to have 2 links, I can reinstate the old frontend edit link, too)
4. Changed ”address” in frontend post field to say ”street address” to clarify what goes there.Still on my to-do list:
5. Add the ability to post ”street address” on backend
6. readjust default zoom of maps on posts to be one step back
7. Add category dropdown to frontend post options
8. Add a button to ”delete” posts (for now I’ve addressed this by just having the current edit button say ”Edit/Delete,” as you can do both in the backend.
9. Incorporate twitter feeds into ChatterThink that covers it. Also on my to-do list are incorporating Facebook Connect and testing out the Grogger group-blog plugin. Feel free to add other items in comments on this post below.
In addition to adding Twitter feeds to Chatter, can we have SeeClickFix feed too?
Yes. The only problem is that it could potentially flood Chatter, depending on the amount of SCF engagement you see. But yes, that’s doable.
I don’t like the SeeClickFix idea for mine. We already have a SCF feed. Why have two?
I’d like to see my sbichao Twitter account added. I have that connected to my FourSquare, which I also use for work. The WInJ Twitter is mostly links to posts, which people can already see on the homepage.
One other problem with SCF in the Chatter area — you won’t be able to click on the vote button or submit issues. Oh, also, the links would point back to the SCF website, not our ”Fixer Upper” pages.
I think adding an line between the shares and the tags would neaten it up. Or maybe just increasing the leading.
Did you refresh the stylesheet? Thought i did that.
